About Corey

Visualization Partners was founded in 2024 by Corey Lanum, an industry veteran previously at Cambridge Intelligence and i2.

Corey has spent 20 years helping large organizations with complex link analysis and data visualization challenges in various industries, including law enforcement, cyber security, and fraud detection. He has a passion for helping organizations make sense of their data and is excited to bring his expertise to the wider business community.

In 2016, Corey wrote and published the book Visualizing Graph Data with Manning Publications. The book has been well received and is a go-to resource for developers and data scientists looking to learn more about graph data and visualization.

Our Services

Front End Data Visualization Development: If you have an evaluation or production license for Cambridge Intelligence's toolkits, Corey is available to help implement the toolkits with your data using his 11 years experience with KeyLines, ReGraph, and KronoGraph. Corey is available for short prototype projects lasting a week to multi-month production engagements
Graph Database Consulting: Corey has experience working with all the major graph databases including Neo4j, Amazon Neptune and Microsoft Azure CosmosDB. Corey can help design the database schemas and the architecture necessary to get the data to the front end so that it can be presented to users
Training: Corey is able to offer training sessions and best practices on implementing Cambridge Intelligence's toolkits to your developers.

Up2Go

Up2Go is building the shaRe platform, an innovative solution for managing and scaling responsible collaboration within and between organizations. Corey has been working with Up2Go to help them visualize the connections inherent in organizations between people and their responsibilities throughout the organization. Corey has used KeyLines and KronoGraph from Cambridge Intelligence and Neo4j to create an interactive platform for visualizing this data in an intuitive way, allowing users to explore and gain insights from their organizational data.

NASWA

The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) is the national organization representing all 50 state workforce agencies, D.C. and U.S. territories, and supports state workforce agencies in helping to prevent and investigate unemployment fraud, especially fraud that crosses state lines. Corey is building a react-based web application to help investigators detect fraud by issuing innovative queries against Amazon Neptune and visualizing the results in an interactive ReGraph graph visualization.
